Tawa Pulao Recipe – Guide to Prepare Yummy and Delicious Tawa Pulao

Tawa Pulav Recipe

Ingredients

  • Rice (2 cups) (any Basmati rice brand)
  • Potato (2 pieces)
  • Tomato (2 pieces)
  • Capsicum ( 2 piece)
  • Onion (2 pieces)
  • Carrot (1 piece)
  • Green peas ( 1 cup)
  • Garlic ( 5 to 6 cloves)
  • Salt (as per taste)
  • Chili powder (4 teaspoons)
  • Coriander powder (2 teaspoons)
  • Turmeric powder(2 teaspoons)
  • Pav bhaji masala (3 teaspoons)
  • Oil (5 teaspoons)
  • Butter ( 2 teaspoon)
  • Lemon ( 1 piece)
  • Water (as required)

Instructions

  1. Boil rice for 15 to 20 minutes in 3 glasses of water, add salt at the time of boiling.
  2. Stir rice in between at the time of boiling and check if rice is cooked then drain out extra water and keep it aside.
  3. Do not over cook rice, rice should not be sticky, after boiling You can keep them on the cloth to absorb extra water.
  4. Pressure cook or boil potatoes, carrot and green peas and finely chop after boiling.
  5. Make paste of tomato,onion and garlic.
  6. Finely chop capsicum.
  7. Heat oil and butter in the pan and add capsicum and saute till it becomes soft.
  8. Add onion and garlic paste and saute till it becomes little pink in color.
  9. Add tomato paste and saute till it seems to be cooked properly.
  10. Add salt, chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and Pav Bhaji masala and saute for a minute till you feel nice aroma of spices.
  11. Add boil and chopped potato, carrot and boiled green peas and mix well.
  12. Add boiled rice and mix carefully at the time of mixing make sure that rice are not broken.
  13. Tawa Pulao is ready now.

Notes

Serve it with lemon and chopped onion and curd.
