Avocado Sabzi Recipe – Prepare Healthy and Tasty Avocado Curry at home

In India, we don’t find this lovely fruit in the market commonly. You can find in the superstores. Ripe Avocado doesn’t last that long so you have to use it very quickly. It has a bitter taste so you need to be careful while making any dish so it tastes perfect. There are many dishes you can make from this unique fruit.

Avocado Sabzi Recipe

Avocado Sabzi Recipe

Ingredients

  • Avocado (1 medium size piece)
  • Onion (1 medium size piece)
  • Lemon juice (1 teaspoon)
  • Coriander leaves (3 teaspoons)
  • Oregano (1 teaspoon) (optional)
  • Salt (as per taste)
  • Red chili powder (2 teaspoon)
  • Coriander seeds powder (1 teaspoon)
  • Cumin seed powder (1 teaspoon)
  • Oil (2 teaspoon)

Instructions

  1. Pressure cook Avocado for 2 to 3 whistles.
  2. Chop onion in medium pieces, cut coriander leaves.
  3. Heat oil in the pan and add onion.
  4. Cook onion till it becomes golden brown in color.
  5. Add salt, chili powder, cumin seed powder, coriander seed powder and saute till all ingredients are mixed properly.
  6. Add boiled Avocado.
  7. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes. All ingredients should be mixed well.
  8. Add oregano and chopped coriander leaves and mix and switch off the flame.
  9. Avocado Sabzi is ready.
